Have gone to Sushi Maki a couple times, each time doesn’t disappoint! There rolls are big but yet so filling and delicious! The owner a sweet man too and gave me and my friends free miso since it was a late cold day. I love this place it’s so affordable but yet so food! Wish they had some music playing in the background because it is quiet and cramp in there

SO GOOD! I returned just 2 days after my first visit bc it was that good. First visit I forgot to take a photo but remembered when I returned. The fish quality is good and the sushi rice is seasoned and cooked perfectly and not too much like some places - my pet peeve is when there’s way more rice than the filling for rolls. Compared to other places the price is more than fair. Maybe bc the atmosphere is more casual and a fast food vibe. I will definitely be returning as this is now my new favorite sushi place in Burien. Highly recommend!

Sushi Maki is a delicious sushi restaurant. They were takeout only during the pandemic, but now they are open again for dine in service. If you think the prices are a little higher, do not fear, they are absolutely worth it as this is authentic sushi with great service. You won’t be disappointed , check out their specialties menu along with the classics.

The sushi is excellent. I was kind of expecting it was going to taste like the sushi you get from the grocery store but it was the total opposite! It was excellent - fresh and delicious! The rice was perfectly made. I would highly recommend this place. I ordered takeout. 2 of these rolls were about 25 (tax included).

Maki has taken custom orders for us twice and has astounded us both times. The quality and attention to detail for the sushi here is really impressive. It's undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Burien, and rivals more expensive sushi in Bellevue. The owner and his wife are kind souls, too.

Best sushi I’ve had in years. Just look at how finely those scallions are chopped! The chef takes his craft seriously, so expect to wait for your dishes to arrive. It’s well worth it.
